Hajime Isayama is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人, Shingeki no Kyojin). It is set in a world where humanity lives in cities surrounded by huge walls because of the Titans, massive, human-eating monsters. Armin is Eren and Mikasa's childhood friend and is the brains of the group. He is a strategic thinker and is often the one to come up with plans to defeat the Titans.

Hajime Isayama is a Japanese manga craftsman and the maker of Attack on Titan.He was born on August 29, 1986, in Ōyama, Ōita Prefecture, Japan. He first submitted the original manga of Attack on Titan to the magazine Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Sirius in 2006, but it was rejected. He then submitted the manga to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009 and it was accepted. Isayama's artwork has been praised for its detailed backgrounds and dynamic action sequences. He is also known for his willingness to kill off characters, which has kept readers on the edge of their seats. Isayama has also worked as a character designer for the Attack on Titan video game series and the live-action movie adaptations of his manga.
