Black Clover

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015, and has been collected into 23 tankōbon volumes


Black Clover follows the story of Asta, a young orphan who was abandoned at a church in the Clover Kingdom. Despite being born without any magical power, he is determined to become the Wizard King, the greatest mage in the kingdom. With the help of his fellow friends and rivals, Asta works hard to achieve his dream of becoming the Wizard King. Along the way, Asta and his friends must battle powerful enemies and uncover the dark secrets of the kingdom.


The series has been adapted into an anime series produced by Pierrot and broadcast from October 2017 to March 2021. It is also being released as an original video animation titled Black Clover: Jump Festa 2018 Anime Special. The manga is also published in English by Viz Media and simulpubbed in Weekly Shonen Jump. The anime series is released in the United States by Funimation.

Plot:

The main characters Asta and Yuno are orphans living in a world where magic is powerful and those who can use it well are respected. The main protagonist of Black Clover is Asta he possesses no magical abilities and is determined to become the Wizard King. Asta's best friend and rival is Yuno, a talented magic prodigy from the same village as Asta. Other important characters in the series include Noelle Silva, an aristocrat and member of the royal family; Charmy Pappitson, an energetic young girl; Gauche Adlai, a former Magic Knight of the Diamond Kingdom; and Vanessa Enoteca, a fellow Magic Knight of the Black Bulls

Fights:

Black Clover features an abundance of exciting fights. Asta, the protagonist of the series, uses his anti-magic swords to combat powerful villains with magic and combines his physical strength with powerful spells to fight the powerful enemies in his path. Yuno, Asta's adoptive brother, also possesses strong magic abilities, which he uses to great effect against the various monsters and villains encountered during the story. In addition to Asta and Yuno, other characters such as Finral, Noelle, Magna, Charmy, Luck, and Vanessa all bring their own unique powers to the battlefield. As the story progresses, the characters' strong bond will only become stronger, allowing them to fight together and defeat increasingly powerful threats.
